We proudly present our second release featuring Sylus from the UK. Sylus brings us an effective neurobreak tune on this one. The rolling reese is accompanied with some speaker shattering leads. The hook is taken from the cult hip hop classic “simon says”. This will surely draw attention on the dancefloor! The first remix features dubstep artists Deploy. They are newcomers to dubstep, but dont let that fool you as they have a polished sound already. The unique bass and crisp drums should fulfill the desires of dubstep fans. Lastly, the Datapusher remix. The guy behind the transverse curtain layed down a techy stormer on this one. Its techy and glitchy, but still posseses a heavy dancefloor vibe w/ HEAVY drums. All 3 mixes together make this a well rounded breaks release.

Dub Elements and Pheex hailing from Spain join with Trans:verse to give you Tech Wreck and Zphere.

Dub Elements has had an array of quality releases this year on the likes of LOT49. Then we have Pheex who has had some firing tracks out on Audiogore. This collaboration results in a mean and heavy peak time adventure. Tech Wreck is self explanatory title. It is a tech influenced track with fangs and a big bassline! Zphere is geared to the more traditional heavy breakbeat enthusiast. It is a constant battle between punchy drums, reese and house stabs!

He is a newcomer to breaks; however, Sylus is a UK drum and bass producer from South London who is now venturing into breakbeat. On this release there are 2 storming breakbeat tracks. Grind is the standout peaktime track. It grinds away with a huge lead sound complemented with gnarly bass and crunchy beats. This tune has that rough transverse sound. To follow up grind comes a tune called X Hed, which is a growling number that is groovy but a bit more relaxed than grind. Breaks fans be on the lookout as Transverse has more heavy breaks to come from Sylus!! Click on the beatport banner to check out the release! …and dont forget to support indy music!

As any DJ enthusiasts knows, the price of vinyl singles keep rising in cost for the listener. Vinyl plastic made from petroleum based material will not get any cheaper. Digital means of DJ-ing are becoming more convenient to the professional DJ and have quickly become the standard for DJing in almost every club. Vinyl distributors are having to make creative sacrifices to sustain business. This makes business hard for independents making unique music to broadcast on this classic medium. As transverse evolves in sound, it evolves with the technology that has been broadcasting it. We have decided to exclusively deploy our tunes by digital means (CD and various audio formats) with over 90 digital stores to choose from. We may do the occaisional vinyl release, but this will yield more music to your ears coming from the transverse crew. We welcome change with open arms and we hope our customer base will too. Much respect to anyone reading this.
